Seems like yesterday we were mortgaging new school clothes and dealing with the anxiety of the first day of school. A blink and BAMM!! SUMMER IS HERE!!!
The kids have finished school- JT survived his first year of Jr. High. He made a ton of new friends and did very well managing his homework and various school clubs and projects. He finished the year with a 3.7 GPA.
He also enjoyed a year playing football, basketball and is wrapping up a fun baseball season. He is switching duties between pitching and 1st base. His team has lost quite a few games, but he is enjoying the association with the ball club.
His summer will be filled with scout camp, basketball camp, fishing trips with dad and he has even threatened to play golf a time or two.
Becca finished the 4th grade and really enjoyed spending time with her new friends. She has a story for everything and never leaves out detail. Becca enjoyed playing soccer on the Pink Puma's. Her team and competition were older than her. She realized she needed to compete at a different level. This helped her realize inner potential and push her comfort zone quite a bit.
Becca looks forward to a summer filled with swimming, riding her bike, going to soccer camp and spending time with her family and friends.
Rachel had a great year in first grade. We think she enjoyed recess the most. When asked what she did for the day, she would go right to recess and what she had for lunch. Rachel also finished her soccer season on the Green Leprechauns. Her friends Makayla and Kara were on the team and it was so fun to play with them.
Rachel is looking forward to swimming, playing with friends and going on vacation with the family.
We have a lot of fun planned for the summer. Lagoon, Jackson Hole, Moonlake, Scout camp, Pioneer Trek, an anniversary (someone remind me of the date!), Bee's games and much much more.
We plan on sharing many pictures and experiences over the next few months- Talk soon!

In the Beginning...
Not certain why all of the sudden I got the itch to do the blog thing...Let's just chalk it up to a nagging guilty feeling to keep some sort of a journal.
The other day I ran across a journal I kept when I was around 8 years old. It was a spiral notebook with a hang ten surfer on the front. I have no real record of my life- could be a good thing! I figure it is time I record a few of the moments of my life along with happenins of the family too.
I guess you can say- we are on the bloggin wagon!
Not sure if there is a support group for struggling bloggers but this may be fun for the entire family...and so we go.
